How does it work?
 
Coolmax is an innovative CoolShaping system that is currently very popular in Europe and the United States, it safely delivers precisely directed cooling to gently and effectively target fat cells under the skin with a cooling sensor and pad, for painless body shaping. Treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), then die without harming the skin or adjacent blood vessel and nerve tissue. Over time, the body will naturally process the fat and eliminate these dead cells.

    Fat cells can be treated better by cooling under controlled conditions.

    1) Fat cells exposed to cooling energy are crystallized and left to undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death). These will die off after a while. Inflammatory mediator and cytokine cause inflammatory reactions in order to eliminate dead cells.
    2) Inflammatory reactions eliminate dead fat cells and reduce the thickness of the fat layer over several months.
    3) The process causes lymphatic drainage of dead fat cells.
